This error is typically caused by the previous version of Cox Elite Gamer conflicting with our new platform, but don't worry there's an easy fix below! Haven't installed Cox Elite Gamer before? See below.
The first thing we need to do is make sure that Elite Gamer or Cox Elite Gamer isn't running. Make sure they're closed by checking in your taskbar.
Now we need to completely uninstall the previous version of Cox Elite Gamer by following this guide:
If you haven't installed Cox Elite Gamer before and you're getting this error, be sure to let us know by submitting a ticket with the link below. In the meantime, You can typically alleviate the issue by closing Elite Gamer via your system tray, Press Win + X and open your task manager, Find GPNC.exe in your background processes (Windows may group it under the Elite Gamer program), right-click and click on End Task. Once that is closed you can reopen Elite Gamer.
