Uh oh! If you get this error, it means that Elite Gamer can't find your game. This error is usually caused by moving game folders or libraries.
FIND YOUR GAME
Nearly every game nowadays runs through a launcher of some type think Steam, Origin, or Epic Games. To find out where your game is located, you'll need to open the launcher associated with the game that you're trying to find. For example, I'll show how to get the folder through Steam. Most of the launchers are quite similar.
- Log into your Steam account.
- Go to Library.
- Right-click the game you want to add
- Select Properties.
- Select Local Files Tab then Select Browse Local Files. This will open the folder where your game is installed.
- The .exe file will most likely be in this folder – some may have 32 or 64-bit options. The .exe file might also be in a folder named bin.
Once you have your folder located, click on Locate Game and browse to the target location and click on Select Folder:
Then you're done! Next time you launch the game, it will open without a problem!
