Elite Gamer is built to be optimized from the very first launch, but there are a couple of reasons why you would need to access the settings. Here we'll break down each setting and why you would use it!
HOW TO ACCESS
First things first, how do you access your settings? You can access them by clicking on your profile icon and then "Account" once you've signed in.
Account
Now that you know how to get there, let's talk about each part.
User Settings
Starting off, you can change your display name, profile picture, and update your password!
Connections
Your Elite Gamer account grants you one active game connection at a time. This will show you your current active and inactive connections!
Interests
The Interest menu is used to personalize your experience in the feed and better game recommendations within GameBoost!
App Settings
Network
This page is used to control networking settings. Currently, the only option here is DCSP. This setting adds priority to the packets on your network For DSCP, this is meant to aid in improving your latency when using wifi to game. DSCP marks packets as "important" and makes sure these packets leave your network before other packets, like Windows Update traffic or other network noise. It's currently in an experimental phase, but feel free to enable and let us know how it works for you.
Launch
The Launch page controls Auto Connect and Start with Windows. When Start with Windows is enabled, Elite Gamer will open when you start up your computer. Auto Connect to Games on Launch allows Elite Gamer to automatically start a connection when it detects that supported games have been launched. This is helpful for when games are easier to open via Windows, like Call of Duty or Overwatch.
Debug Logs
This will be helpful if you're experiencing any issues or crashing. Please submit a debug log when you place a ticket with your issue! This way we can evaluate and address the issue easier.
