Elite Gamer is built to handle the complicated network pathing for you, but sometimes it gets it wrong. Manually selecting the servers could help! Keep in mind that overriding the server selection is considered an option for advanced users. If you have issues, revert to the auto-optimal path for the best connection.
SETTING IT UP
On the MY GAMES tab, simply select which game it is you are wanting to play! In my case, it's 7 Days to Die
In the middle portion of the screen, you'll see "Server Path" and a dropdown for "Automatic EG" Select that drop down and click on "Manual Server Selection"
The first section you'll see will be your geographical location (or very close). This is automatically filled out for you.
The second section is a drop-down that will list each server by ping. Ideally, you'll select a server that's physically close to you. Outside of ping, some servers will perform better than others. It's best to try each of them and notate which perform the best for your game.
After your server is selected, leave the third drop-down blank, and click on Confirm. Once your back on the game details screen, click on ⚡Play Now to launch the game with your configuration!
ADVANCED SETUP
If the single server selection doesn't do it for you, you can use a multi-server selection. There's no need to enable anything; this is ready to go out of the box. The only difference is you are selecting the server for your game. Follow the steps like before, but this time you'll be filling in the third drop-down. This can be tricky, but knowing where the game server is located will help with this. Keep in mind that you're doubling the possible server connections to test when you're adding a second server selection. So it's best to keep it to single server selections when possible.
After your servers are selected, click on Confirm. Once you're back on the game details screen, click on Launch Game to launch the game with your configuration!
